Based on application conditions, Hanpower designs and offers custermized screw expander ORC with high performance. For variation on heat source and heat sink, the ORC will operate automatically on design point and off-design points to generate electricity continously.
General Arrangement
The main components are twin-screw expander, generator, evaporator, condenser, oil separator, oil pump, working fluid pump, and control box. All components are assemblied to a whole structure, which is easy to transport and set up.

Screw Expander
Based on the Hanbell's screw machinery technology, Hanpower/Hanbell develop a series of high efficiency twin screw expander as the core engine of ORC. The rotor is designed with high strength, high efficiency, low vibration, low noise.

Generator
To meet the power connection requirement on site, Hanpower provides induction generator or synchronous generator. The frequency can be 50Hz or 60Hz. The voltage can be AC220V、380~480V、3kV、6kV、10kV.
Evaporator
To consider the heat source type, content, and quality, Hanpower design and select plate type heat exchanger or shell and tube type heat exchanger as evaporator.
Condenser
We offer different type condensers, (1)water cooled condenser; (2)Air cooled condenser; (3)Evaporated condenser. Generally, water cooled is suggested due to following benefits.

Oil Separator
Oil separator is designed to separate oil and superheated working fluid, to prevent the oil circulate to evaporator and condenser.
Working Fluid Pump
High efficiency, multi-stage centrifugul pump are selected to pump the working fluid into evaporator in ORC system.
Control System
In ORC's control system, PLC is used to control all conditions and reacted automatically with variable heat source/ heat sink conditions. All conditions parameters monitored by PLC can be transferred to user's DCS, SCADA or control center by communication.

Hermetic Screw Expander-Induction Generator Set
The screw expander rotor and induction generator rotor are designed as the same shaft, which means there is no coupling and no vibration problem. The hermetic structure implies no seal is needed, which means there is no risk of working fluid leaking. Moreover, the low temperature working fluid after expansion flow through the induction generator and cooling the generator without extra power.

Open Screw Expander-Synchronous Generator Set
For special application, for example, renewable energy, open type ORC is needed. Hanpower also offer open type screw expander-synchronous generator set. A coupling is needed between the screw expander and the synchronous generator. The art of aligement is important. Besides, a seal is needed to prevent leaking of working fluid and a fan should be installed to cooling the generator.

Automatic Intelligent Control System
In ORC's control system, PLC is used to control all conditions and reacted automatically with variable heat source/ heat sink conditions.
